Girls Hockey

BAHL's girls pathway gives players a clear place to develop, compete, and stay connected to the game through the 14U Girls and 19U Girls teams.

How the Girls Pathway Works

Players can enter through skating lessons, Learn To Play, coed youth hockey, or a girls team depending on age classification, experience, registration, and team structure for the season.

1

Start

New players can begin with Try Hockey For Free, Learn To Skate, or Learn To Play before moving into a team environment.

2

Develop

Players build skating, puck skills, confidence, game habits, and team concepts as they move through youth hockey.

3

Compete

Girls teams give players a focused setting to grow with peers and continue playing at the right age level.

14U Girls and 19U Girls

These teams give older girls a clearer pathway inside BAHL while still keeping placement tied to current-season requirements.

14U Girls

For players in the 14U girls age classification. The focus is building pace, puck skills, team concepts, confidence, and readiness for older girls hockey.

19U Girls

For players in the 19U girls age classification, including older high-school-age players. The focus is older competition, leadership, pace, and staying involved in the game.

Team Placement

Final placement depends on age classification, registration, player numbers, BAHL structure, and USA Hockey requirements for the season.
