Billings Youth Hockey Registration Is Open
The 2026-27 BAHL youth hockey registration products are live in Crossbar. New and returning families should review the current handbook, complete USA Hockey membership, and register through the buttons below.
Registration Status: registration is open. Use the registration buttons on this page for 6/8U Session 1, 6/8U Session 2, and 10U through High School.
New Hockey Families
Brand-new players can start with Try Hockey For Free or Learn To Skate, then move into youth hockey when ready.
Before Checkout
Have a 2026-27 USA Hockey membership and a valid birth certificate ready for each youth participant.
IMPORTANT NOTES
The BAHL follows USA Hockey age divisions for youth programs. Age categories are determined by the player’s age as of December 31 of the playing season.
High School Eligibility: A player who is 14 years of age AND attending high school may try out for a high school team(s).
Playing Up: Players may apply to play up an age division. Requires BAHL approval (approval by Hockey Director) and coach evaluation. Player safety and development are priorities.
Goalie Development: Specialized goalie training sessions and clinics will be offered throughout the season at all age levels.

- July 25, 2026, 2:30-3:30 PM
- August 8, 2026, 3:00-4:00 PM
- August 22, 2026, 2:30-3:30 PM
- September 12, 2026, 2:00-3:00 PM
Ages & Prices
2026-27 registration fees (source: board-approved BAHL handbook):
Learn to Play: $205 per session.
6/8U Session 1: $305. 6/8U Session 2: $305. Both sessions: $555.
10U: $855.
12U, 14U, 14U Girls, 19U Girls, and High School: $950 standard.
Approved full-time goalies at 12U and older: $665.
Discounts & Payment Plans
Goalies: Designated full-time goalies at the 12U level and above receive a 30% discount off the base registration fee. Players must be registered as a designated full-time goalie to qualify — partial or position-shared players do not qualify for the goalie rate.
Siblings: Every registered player after the first child receives a $150 discount. Enter Discount Code "SIBLING" when registering 2nd, 3rd, 4th...children.
Payment plan offered with $350 down followed by monthly payments x 6 months.
Practices
Ice practices for all development teams will occur 3 times per week at Signal Peak Energy Arena and will start in September 9, 2026. More detailed schedules to be provided.
Other off-ice practices, events, or activities may be scheduled at the discretion of the coach and team manager. All team activities will be scheduled on the Team Page and Calendar.
Jerseys and Gear
BAHL has partnered with Play It Again Sports to handle all rental gear and jerseys. Rental gear is available for every level of play.
Upon registration, you will be asked if you will need a new jersey for this season.

Important notes prior to registering:
All participants will register for the development program from which representative teams will be selected at a later date.
Girls should register with their age group if they are 12U and younger. If they are 14U or older they should register in the 14U Girls or 19U Girls divisions.
