Learn to Skate
Skating is the foundation on which any future in a sport with skating is built. Learn to Skate USA provides a safe and fun environment for skaters of all ages to obtain the necessary skills for a successful career in either figure skating or hockey.
Successful figure skating and hockey programs start with a successful Learn to Skate program. Getting you on the right start and path is our focus!
Classes
- LTS Snowplow Sam (Ages 4-6)
- LTS Basic Skills (Ages 6+)
- LTS Hockey (Ages 6+)
- LTS Adult (Ages 16+)
- LTS Aspire (Requires passing of Basic Skills)
- LTS Moves in the Field (Testing of Advanced Figure Skating Skills)

Schedule & Cost
Four 6-week sessions spread throughout the fall and winter (see schedule details at right).
The cost for a Learn to Skate session is $93, which gets you 6 group lessons and skate rentals.
Skates
Rental skates are provided (free of charge) if you do not have your own. Please just go to the skate shop in the rink and tell the attendant that you're in the LTS program.
Play It Again Sports is a good resource for buying new and used hockey skates, and Rimrock Figure Skating Club also sells figure skates!
